Many restaurants close between mid July and August.
- Borj Bladi (with reservation ) : open air show set
between pisé towers called Borj. Traditional Moroccan
show features folkloric groups from various regions and fantasia
(horse cavalcade). Intimate place and authentic Moroccan show.
4 course Moroccan dinner served under tents including mechoui
(roasted lamb) and couscous. Kosher meals served on request.
- Chez Ali : open air Oriental/Moroccan show set in a
1001-night setting and featuring : folkloric groups from various
regions, belly dancer, acrobats on horses, fantasia, flying
carpet, firework. 4 course menu including mechoui (roasted lamb)
and couscous served under tents.
- Dar Hadj Idder : a beautiful Moroccan palace in the
medina, within walking distance from Djemaa El Fna square. Moroccan
orchestra, belly dancer, plate dancer.
- Kasbah Rotunda : superb traditional house in the medina
mixing Italian and Moroccan refined decorations. Roof terrace
overlooking Marrakesh. Italian and Moroccan chefs serving gastronomic
meals. Moroccan orchestra with singer and belly dancer. Open
every day, but no Italian food on Tuesday.
- Palais Gharnatta : a beautiful Moroccan palace in the
medina, serving a refined Moroccan cuisine, Andalous orchestra,
belly dancer.
- Puerto Banus : in the centre. Nice Mediterranean style
house serving Spanish food. Guitarists and karaoké.
- Yacout : a magnificent Moroccan restaurant in the medina
serving delicate food in a 1001 night setting. Welcome cocktail
and 4 course menu : 650 MAD. Closed on Mondays and one month
in summer.
