The white city's name derives from "Casa Branca" given
by the Portuguese when it was a little Berber village situated
on the Anfa hill. The city now housing almost 4 millions inhabitants,
was developed in the early 20th century when the French protectorate
representatives decided to build the artificial port and to plan
the construction of a new city . Casablanca the cosmopolitan and
economic capital is famous for its nightlife with lots of excellent
restaurants, night clubs, cinemas, spectacles
.
Major cities and capitals from all over the world have direct
flights to Casablanca or via Paris making it an ideal location
to host international congresses and events.
Mild climate all the year round, sometimes hot in summer, but
never cold in winter. It rains occasionally in winter.
